Earlier
this month, Paramount paid $1.2 -$1.8 million for Coolidge-penned "Cockblockers,"
with Topher Grace and Sean William Scott. He also wrote and is set to direct
"Employee of the Month" for Lions Gate. Coolidge has several other
projects in the works as a scribe or producer, including "Camp"
for Revolution Studios Revolution Studios and "The Loser," "Mancrush"
and "Ride Along" at New Line.
Well if you hadn't heard a good friend of mine, writer Greg
Coolidge and I sold a sitcom to NBC called 5-0.
I was to star in the single-camera laffer, playing a 5-foot tall, 18-year-old
rookie cop who reluctantly agreed to take on assignments that made use of
his small size -- including going undercover as a student. I'll was also trying
to impress my dad, the chief of police.
He
sold the pilot "Rev'd" to Fox last year. NBC has given a script
commitment to the comedy with Coolidge set to write and executive produce along
with Walter Hamada and Chris Fenton of H2F Entertainment.
